Where is Xiaomi 12 Lite? It's already June. It should use SD778G+ while 12 Lite NE or S should use SD 7 Gen 1.

This is all fine and dandy, but where the funk is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1? They should have announced at least 2 models by now.
They keep pumping out 8(+) Gen 1 phones, but no word whatsoever about any 7 Gen 1 phones.

Goddamn it Xiaomi, release a proper flagship phone with IP rating please. Always cutting corners with IP rating, yet price hiking like a balloon over the year. Xiaomi 15 will probably even be more expensive than iPhone 15, with no proper IP rating again.

But it also has QHD 12bit screen while 22/22+ use FHD 8bit.
This alone already makes huge impact to power necessary to feed screen.

Just because it has only + slapped in the name doesn't mean it's the same thing as original SD 8 Gen 1 a bit tweaked and then TSMC just miraculously undoes all the bad things? This chip has been redesigned and TSMC added some extra on top with more advanced reliable process node. People need to stop perpetuating this nonsense that everything TSMC is just best. One can easily create terrible chip even on TSMC node. TSMC has generally always been ahead and yet that didn't miraculously save AMD's Bulldozer which was a bad chip which they sourced from TSMC too. And NVIDIA's Ampere is also a good indication how excellent chip design can work well on Samsung nodes.
On top of this, Xiaomi 12 has been one of worst phones with SD 8 Gen 1. It had gigantic battery, yet scored worse battery times than both vanilla Galaxy S22 and S22+ (both with smaller battery and both with Exynos 2200).
