Who really thinks an A15 can't handle some half baked multitasking like stage manager? Also, if the iPad Mini 6 only has 4GB of RAM, then you would need less swap right? So 64GB isn't a problem either. These kinds of artificial limitations are why I hate iOS. Unfortunately, no ChromeOS or Android manufacturers care about small tablets.

Apple isn't apple anymore likes Steve Jobs time. iOS as well as iPadOS 16 is just a number update.
No special feature. iPadOS 16 also didn't get lock screen features.

Dude, a lot of things involving manufacturing phones cost money. It's not just the materials and downright specs. Ever heard of RnD? Marketing? Labour costs? Salaries?
And when your favourite android devices get expensive as well? You just find some vague reasons to justify the price hike.

Disgusting business practices by Apple. every year they boast just how insanely powerful their A CPUs are yet Apple is intentionally not allowing features to drive people in getting the more expensive model
this has been a thing for Apple for years. remember the iPhone X? they have powerful SoCs yet night mode on the camera didn't make it through. the reasoning was the SoC wasn't powerful enough. bs. even 2016 Android phones with GCam port can handle HRD+ and night mode

I'm pretty sure from now on we will start seeing "artificial" limits by Apple in regards to software features and which devices will be able to use them.
This is why Apple was eager to launch their own silicon, bc with Intel they were getting bashed around due to their own dumb design decisions.
Now that they have every secret under control, no one can point fingers at then
