I would rather stick with a Pixel A device for mid-tier phones. Even thought Google's hardware is kinda weak. I think if they have it at $300-350 it might sell like hotcakes.

Whenever a manufacturer does a circular camera island, people automatically start comparing it to iphone. Seems like you guys are doing more hardwork than Apple's legal team.

Please , there should be 2 versions of this phone .A bigger one and a smaller one. The bigger one should be named "Nothing Big" and the smaller one should be called "Nothing Small"

Why the older oneplus phones were cheap? Because they could use Oppo's R&D, Oppo's supply chain , Oppo's factory and not using all good stuff flagships from Htc, Samsung, LG, Sony and Huawei had.
Look at Essential PH-1 ... Own project from zero and no own factories. Phone was $700 in USA and even more in Canada.

They know what they're doing. They've spent too much money for anything to be a coincidence. Plus, their earbuds look like earpods.
icarly was a show on Nick. They had laptops with a logo of a pear. It was clearly inspired by Apple. They just didn't want to get sued.

To this new company, would be much easier and cheap to acquire any project from Oppo and have phones assembled at Oppo factories compared to design from zero and pay Foxconn to build.
I would not be surprised if many components are sourced from same suppliers that sell to BBk.
