Okay, as much as I disliked Nothing from the start because I suspected they will be all the marketing and no actual delivery, I'm starting to like the nothing phone more and more. I'm a HUGE fan of notification lights on the back, as you can stay updated even with your screen down, and it catches your attention much more than a standard AOD notification.

Is this meme or doesn't back logo look like the Apple logo. Almost like they want be sued by Apple. Only difference is that it has lights on The back very innovative, not like see that before on most gaming phones.

The only disappointment is the so called transparent back, as transparent as politics.
LED strips makes up for that.

This comments section is so pessimistic, averse to something new and honestly, disappointing to an enthusiast. This phone, in someone's hand, would be more identifiable than a Pixel 6/6 Pro and people called that design revolutionary. How people have began to call this phone a failure before we can even see its front, I have no idea. Perhaps we have some time travelers in this comments section and the "Sic Mundus Creatus Est" is very contextual in this scenario. Pathetic from you lot.

Honestly though, you're not to be able to design edges on a smartphone that are both practical and original. Everything has been done at least once at this point

I'm not trying to be completely negative towards Nothing. Most of this site's comment section can be so negative. Like every phone is ugly. Every phone is bad. There are positives. I do see some potential with transparent rear panels. Perhaps even put a small second display on the back like what Chinese OEMs have been doing with their cameras.
I would love for Apple to copy a little of this and we can finally have an iPhone with a glowing Apple logo on the back like their old MacBooks. There could be some potential with utilizing rear backs. Maybe put a notification ticker that shows stock shares or even sports scores. I wish Google did that with their Pixel 6 visor. We would need to go caseless unless they're clear cases or holster case.

Basically, monthly updates and an Android update during that time. Having said that Android updates are practically useless anyway though. The last three have made very little difference. I think the updates from manufacturers of their own skins bring more useful features

And "waiting for 2nd gen" isn't necessary if the initial package is already good just like the very Steam Deck you've mentioned, which is a very good offering in its first generation.
You can wait for 2nd gen tech of anything, but 3rd gen will generally outdo it, 4th gen will outdo 3rd gen and so on. You'll just get stuck in a loop of constant wait while depriving yourself of good products in the name of "correction".
