Basically, you get what you pay for but the details on pricing depend on countries. I'm in China where Realme offers the same specs at the same price (actually usually Realme is slightly cheaper) and Motorola will give higher hardware specifications for the same price but that is because Redmi is a more established brand than Realme or Motorola in China. The Xiaomi brand is not offering good price to performance ratio at all. Xiaomi branded phones are expensive and charge a premium. Only Redmi and Poco take the price to perfomance ratio route.

After there is no Pro version, So I got S21 FE for $500
And this feel so much better than MIUI on my previous phone, it all smarter. Battery Protection mode, Bixby Routine and ability to disable fast charge is nice for bedtime charge.
Never have issue with bluetooth yt music anymore with Bixby.
I love Xiaomi before since Price/Performance but nowadays price went up so much that diminished all the good Xiaomi have

MRSTEK, 17 Jun 2022free trade irl...but hey, when i'm going to buy xiaomi phone i only go for snapdra-powered one, it's a must.
because, you know MIUI is MIUI and MIUI are full of bloats. And with snapdra, installing custom ROM become viable option for those who are willingly to give their time for workaround, or even turning their xiaomi phone into something else.
