Anyway this phone is not legit to F3 user like myself.

VNuff, 16 Jun 2022 Good, MediaTek are disgusting.Like 10 years ago AMD was garbage but look it now it's still cheaper and now better then Intel chips.
There is nothing wrong with Dimensity series from Mediatek. If you cry about something then it's probably there P series as even the G series is good for the price they go for as middle class lower side.
Only issue that mediatek has is that they have closed source so you cant install your preferred os on it like you can with snapdragon and even that only for Xiaomi phones as most brands dont allow you to unlock the phone so you can install your preferred os on them.

in same time POCO X4 GT (in chaina :redmi 11T pro ) will lunch too with mediatek dimensity 8100 (it is flagship cheap , very very powerful ,very cool) with 250$ !!!!!!

It's just that now it has support for LPDDR5 which the 780g doesn't have (but for some reason the 778g does have 🤔🤔). So basically the 7g1 is to the 780g what the dimensity 720 is to the g90t: same exact thing with one extra feature

If I have to guess, it might be due to certification of the chipset on carriers for compatability or Xiaomi is receiving volume discounts from Qualcomm. Or supply issues for Dimensity since TSMC would prefer to manufacture chips for Apple/AMD rather than Mediatek as they make more money there.
