The Edge 30 Lite / Neo looks pretty good, but I hope that price is quite a bit cheaper. At 400 EUR I don't think it's a good enough reason to pick it over the Pixel 6a.

Unfortunately there will be no IP6* and the moto"s from last year's are a bit heavy.

And display isn't adaptive on A52s it's either 60hz or 120hz
Moreover edge 30 is cheaper than A52s in my country even with launch price

Also edge 30 takes macro shots from ultrawide and its much better cause it can go close as 2.5cm and takes 12.5MP macro images which also have auto focus.
And regarding prices of devices mentioned in this article are overpriced if 'leaks' are correct

Edge 30 lite seems intriguing with a reasonably compact 6.28" display, an efficient processor and a 3.5mm jack! Just hope the cameras are decent and it could very well be my next purchase!

So, yes, perhaps there aren't for the same people, but the surcharge, when more than 25-30% over the competition, needs to provides something better than the said competition ... And in that case, it's on the thin side. I just say this as a customer, if I had to choose between one or another, but again, needs aren't the same for everyone.

Behind Motorola it's Lenovo, and the Samsung A52s 5G has a good screen with 120hz refresh, adaptive on top of that. Not like in the S22 and such but again, for the price, it's only logical how they segment. The motorola is priced way too high and the fact that the 30 Lite version (With a SD695, LOL) is supposed to be around 400 is way too much for asking. In EU at least. And the protection of the Edge 30 is GG3 over GG5 for the A52s 5G, so that's more durable but perhaps the GG3 will be less prone to small scuff on the screen due to the tenderness of material.

Engineering cost for making it slimmest 5g phone
It also has 2x2 mimo on wifi (100+mbps on 2.4 ghz)

It was also launched with a 778G+, so the comparison to the Edge30 that have a 778G+ and that is launched 100-120 EUR more than what offer Samsung ... Of course you can compare it to the A53 from Samsung, but it's pricier than A52s (Since it 'just' launched) and the processor is crap, alon,g with the rest that is not an update from A52s 5G imho.
So when you compare Motorola that is 100-150 pricier than Samsung and offer less software update ... Well, dead in the water :p
