Who remembers Galaxy S5 selling around for 599$? and today's flagship does not go below 1000$....

Yea you can argue that inflation, more cameras...etc

But manufacturing process and everything has gotten cheaper by the years also, so are they ripping us completely? Same with petrol prices, they just want to make phones, cars and stuff like that a luxury for the rich or the ones who can really afford.

        Higher development cost or more expensive materials could hike up the price this much, also wanting to earn more money could do it too.

        So no this is by far not only because of inflation.

          So, basically the price of midrange smartphones(and some pseudo "flagship killers"), I never knew smart watches were that expensive.

            Of course they will, is called f inflation and this inflation happen and grow tirelessly. So the price is normal to be bigger every year.

              And less protected. Well, they don't want to make sales.
