Literally in industry where ARM is the largest fabless hardware designer. Guess who's also fabless hardware designer. Apple. Just because they don't manufacture components themselves doesn't mean they can't invent things. LTPO is and always will be Apple's invention. Only clueless haters keep on whining and denying it. Just like amazing Bionic A and M chipsets designed by Apple. None of which they make themselves. They send the designs to companies that do have manufacturing capabilities and then they make products based on those specifications. So, yes, Samsung is manufacturing displays for Apple based on Apple's own R&D and design.

[deleted post]North America is not the rest of the world though. Also, they buy their phones mainly on contracts, so it shouldn't be taken as a direct comparison with other parts of the world.
I am pretty sure, some Nokia and Motorola phones are offered for free there with certain 2 year contracts. So, that is why the average American gets this phones. Nothing to be proud of for this companies.

And their screens do reach 1Hz at hardware level, unlike those made by samsung that go down to 10 and rarely 1 Hz using software tricks.

2) most seem to be ODM lately, like wildfire series
3) 695 has same gpu used by 750. Also it has stronger cpu than 765. Only problems are no 4K and slower internet compared to 690. It replaces 480 basically, not 690.

What I would do for a One Max and One M8 reissue with those designs, bigger batteries, 7 Gen 1, amplified DAC, triple focal cam, and IGZO Pro LCD or LTPO AMOLED...

Lol, 460UR for LCD display and SD695 chipset? For what, just because it has HTC branding?
Is almost as expensive as an S21 FE (open box device). And more expensive than the S20 FE (SD865 version).
HTC and Nokia are too optimistic nowadays. Even Motorola looks more appealing and with better pricing per specs offered.
