Like comparing 1/3.5" to 1/2", or 1/2.5" to 1/1.7". Its a big difference in offer.

Note that this is a 4:3 1" type sensor. So it's slightly larger than typical 1" type sensors.

Not for me. Even some of my favourite photographers (Steve McCurry, Alan Schaller), using a Leica. Yes there are people buy it just to show off. But the output is dramatic & unique when put in a good use.
Sentimental, dramatic, built quality, evergreen, big time resale value. Thats my definition about Leica.

What's your opinion on videos?Even though I haven't tested it out as much as I have with still photos, I would say the video recording is very good on iPhone. The exposure is well balanced across all kinds of lighting conditions, but most importantly, it doesn't have an annoying aggressive clarity boost that keeps ruining the stills. Colours are generally slightly oversaturated but greens tend to look muted. Good noise handling in low light, too.

It's not that I bought it to take photos with it, but it's always worth mentioning how the newer generations of iPhones overprocess images in a manner that (I think) is truly unpleasant.
