It looks much better than the white variant. It really makes those "900 tiny LEDs" stand out even more. At the end of the day, aesthetics aren't important. Good specs, great UI, and adequate pricing are needed to achieve a breakthrough in this plethora of Android smartphone market competition.

The black version looks nice, but i rather pay 800€ and got proper phone specs, than 400€ for over a year old hardware which is already available under 300€ from other manufacturers...

Nothing as a company overhypes this so heavily it can only disappoint, because people expect now the most insane things from it.

The black version is the same. Might not be pure jet black (no black is including paint etc apart from OLED black) but it is still black, not grey. Black internals with a transparent glass back.
Your comment - "but you can't see through black back" is very strange! As Nothing comfirmed the the back is transparent glass with the internals (ie white for white version & black for black version) showing through the transparent glass. They didn't say the back is white and black coloured glass as you wrongly assumed.
