The company really seems to think a lot of people are switching in this direction.

Grey Wolf, 30 Jun 2022I did. Well, technically I had both Android and iPhones in ... moreAll companies ultimately only think about profit. Android manufacturers are the same. They want to keep consumers happy to the extent that they keep using their products so that they can make more money out of them. That is the goal of all for profit companies. Obviously Apple have failed in this goal when it comes to your custom!

GenZ, 30 Jun 2022when a stuff is less useful - price it more expensive. ... moreYou keep saying "low spec iOS" without even understanding what it even means and what you're even saying. LOL much?

Samsung, Google, and many different Chinese brands already tried their best to tease Apple many times in the past, but eventually, they all just end up following Apple's suit (i.e. removing headphone jack, removing charger in package, pairing hardware components individually for specific unit of a model, etc.)

It's mostly from Android to iOS... Most users, with exception of USA usually start with Android and they get fed up with it and try iPhone.

Funny thing is, even with all this, to save battery, iPhones typically lose battery health faster than other phones. And the battery replacement then costs a lot more than other brands. It's perhaps, all about the money with Apple than actual customer benefit

iPhone have the specs, have the smoothness in apps. It provides the best experience.

The only use for this app is quickly bring some data to a throw away Android phone, so you can go to high thief countries with your Android phone.

[deleted post]I did. Well, technically I had both Android and iPhones in recent years (mainly Samsung and iPhones).
But recently, after I saw also the rumors about iPhone 14, I said goodbye for longer period of time to IOS. I even deleted my Apple ID, just to be sure I will not be tempted to return, lol.
Until Apple changes their mentality and business model, I will never give my money to that company again (with any product, no matter how good and premium they look like).
Android is far from perfect, but at least I have multiple options if I want some change. In IOS you are stuck with what Apple thinks and wants.
You want future Mini iPhones? Sorry, Apple thinks not enough money entered in their big pockets with 12 Mini and 13 Mini, so they canceled the series.
You want fast charging speeds? Sorry, Apple thinks that will degrade the battery. So you are stuck with 20W maximum charging. Also, after 85% it takes ages to reach 100%, because Apple thinks about your battery more than about your time.
You want universal USB type C port to use it between all your devices? Sorry, Apple loves too much their money and their lightning accessories to give this up. And will wait to be mandatory requested by EU to actually do something about it.
                    Etc.

So yeah, good riddance. I wish all of iPhones users good luck with their "wonderful" company, who gives the impression that they are thinking about their customers, when in fact they are thinking only about money and profit.

Has anyone actually been able to find this app???????? I can't even find it to download

GenZ, 30 Jun 2022iPhone is like an aging Kodak. today we use SmartPhone no... moreWhen was Kodak setting trends and having billions in sales when it was on its way out? Uh?

Also, what's "low spec UI" even suppose to mean? iOS's visuals are far more appealing to look at and navigate than flat and plain Android's interface. iOS has menus that have grouping outlines and never uses just 1 layer giving it certain depth that's just not present on Android no matter what color scheme you paint over it, even with Android 12's new color schemes. And its animations are timed just perfectly to make it look more smooth. Some argue they are slow, but I disagree. They are just fast enough that they aren't obstructing or delaying the navigation.
And if you consider it "low spec" because it doesn't have 300 billion tweaks and settings for everything, that may be the case, but it also has things that not even Android has in ANY of the variants I'm aware of. Like the upcoming lock screen with all sorts of configurations and widgets or the OCR of text from video or lifting up subjects from images with simple long press and lifting it off. It's far mor eground breaking than having tons of fiddly settings and tweaks that they simply decided are not that important. And they aren't. Missed them right after migration from Android to iOS and after almost 4 years of using iOS now, I basically don't care anymore.

Most users just keep their old iPhones. If Apple hadn't sabotaged Huawei, things would've been different.

[deleted post]depend on what model do you get. in a flagship you expect to be better than iphones. but iphones are still better because size.
