Apple don't give a damn for the brazilian market. They launch their iphone and ipads 4-5 months after US. Most brazilian buy their idevices when travelling to USA because the price here is ridiculous, the unlocked iphone 5 costs $1150, on the other hand the galaxy SIII costs $750, also unlocked.

AnonD-109911, 06 Feb 2013Nothing any important with this, just forget the market of... moreApple would never stop selling in Brazil, as it is one of the most profitable markets on the planet. They will most likely rebrand it, so they don´t have to pay royalties. By the way, stop being so ignorant about things.

[deleted post]I'm assuming that these Fandroids have a firm understanding of copyright law, and how each country enforces it?
Though not. Guffaw.

Anonymous, 06 Feb 2013They steel everything plain and simple. The orientals sold ... moreLol this is nothing to do with stealing or 'steeling' as you call it. It is just about rights to a name. In Brazil. The other company had the rights before Apple. They are just defending that, and never accused Apple of stealing it lol. Funny Fandroids can't read.

No big deal really, as if people can't tell the difference. Just re-brand it Apple phone in Brazil. In fact, the rarity might make it a collectors item.t

AnonD-109911, 06 Feb 2013Nothing any important with this, just forget the market of... moreNo. It's a stolen name. They should be forced to globally change the stolen name. Then they should start inventing their own things instead of worrying about patenting the way the tables line up in their mall look a like stores.

They steel everything plain and simple. The orientals sold for the IPAD name, but I don't think anyone is backing down on the Iphone name. They should take Apple all the way and legally make them change their name. Of course they and the courts will argue they should pay royalties instead...they should've though of that before steeling. Poison that crapple

Nothing any important with this,
just forget the market of Brazil and stop shipping any product of apple to Brasil. They will automatically remove that rights to the other company with emergency concern. Apple does not need to purchase that rights for start sale on their iPhone devise.
This is not any kind of important matter,
