It's B's,since TMobile's site clearly suggests that they pay off your old phone when switching.(up to a certain amount.) Yet they don't clarify if that counts for customers that are forced to switch over. TMobile has closed down over 15%-25% percent of locations, sent out 120 plus termination notices to dealers. I also contacted TMobile customer service, told them what I pay a month for the service I currently have, along with the devices I have and eligible upgrades. I asked will I lose those upgrades and have to pay more for my monthly bill. Agent told me it would be about the same with taxes and I keep my upgrades. However, upgrades according to the company's small print are subject to credit approval and in order to upgrade current phone must be paid off. Also what ever you upgrade to you are charged X amount of dollars a month. And if you cancel there service you are charged remaining balance of your upgraded phone. Also according to small print, for the service I have now,I have to pay an extra $15 dollars a month for my hotspot. Then when I was done collecting information so I could talk it out with the family the agent began to be pushy wanting me to switch over then. I explained to the agent 3 times,I'm going to talk it over with my family. Agent then asked me why?. That upset me. So for the fourth time,I told them if I plan to switch it will be after I talk it over and go to one of you store locations and make sure the information you told me is correct. And that the next thing the agent should say is thank you have a good day. They got my point.
This is a prime example why T-Mobile needs to have someone in legation to put the breaks on them. And look at how they company is doing things and who's pockets the company is lining and who's getting the shaft.Because in my location the nearest store to my current provider is 30 miles away. Yet my provides agents who are owed by TMobile try to tell me different. I dislike liars. TMobile's call center quotes people different information then the store when asked the same questions. And if their agents ask people why they want to talk things over with family,That should not be their concern. actions speak louder then words. Watch their actions and read their words, you get seven different answers to one question.

And with that, only 4 major carriers remain in the US. Predicting that, in a few years' time, it will be down to 3 as Dish will be unable and unwilling to be a cell provider, eventually selling the spectrum to T-Mobile and exit the business. More layoffs, less choices, and higher prices for the consumer. Best case is to find a secondary provider (Spectrum mobile, et al) and use it.

electrash, 02 Jul 2022CDMA was better? Tell me how is it better?Originally, CDMA was a better network than the GSM at the time. CDMA could handle many more calls in the same bandwidth. But GSM has morphed many times since then and now with VoLTE the calls are clearly superior to the older CDMA tech.

                Your wording is gem.
"T-Mobile faced many obstacles and pushback from regulators and critics. "as if T-Mobile needs to be championed.
                Let's reword it... shall we?
T-Mobile ignored critics and lobbied (nice word for paying them off) the regulator.

The article makes it sound like Sprint customers are going to be left without working phone coverage.

Seems that T-Mobile has not only closed down Sprint, but also MetroPCS locations. They closed several locations without notice to customers and gave employees notices. TMobile response was closed stores that don't have high customer counts, yet have agents say those store locations are open, even though you standing outside the locked store, with no hours of operation available. And with TMobile buying up different providers as well as Dish, seems they are trying to reach for number one in different services, yet not really care about the people they let go or the customers. TMobile may say they provided a severance package to employees, but to which employees? Corporate level employees or those at store level? And from what was said by TMobile about MetroPCS, employees where sent an email that their location was closing for an undisclosed amount of time till TMobile could obtain if that location was worth reopening and they were temperately unemployed, till further notice. So I really doubt that the severance package was for those at store level. It also shows the lack of consideration or concern towards those at store level or customers. It proves they care only about the mighty dollar. Regardless what TMobile states to news media I will firmly believe that the actions of TMobile clearly state we careless about the store level employees and customers by providers we purchased and discontinued. Because being fired by email is just like a break up over text.

Used Sprint for 2 years between 2018-2020 and the company have issue. It's not fast nor the coverage great but the biggest problem is the company policy. Different SIM card for different phone models so there are like a dozen Sprint SIMs and you have to track down one that's compatible with your phone. And you cannot swap SIM card between same model phones either because the SIM and phone are registered together
