Yes, the only reason for switching from Samsung to Sony is the SD card slot. The 3.5mm jack is a great bonus on top of that.
I'd rather have those two features combined with the 4k display. The cameras don't interest me at all on either phones. I never use them.

Why are you defending Apple so fiercely? Very few people here will argue that they don't provide an exceptional product.
Samsung has two big issues; too many phones and increased competition from China.
They can do little about China except to double down strategically on countries that provide the most sales or grow emerging markets.
They need to slash half of their offerings (50 million unsold devices in 2022) and rethink their approach.

What else do you expect when you sell crap at premium prices. Customer are not fool. Only reason to buy samsung now is a 's-pen', Apart from this there is no reason to pay premium for the crap they use. They keep increasing price with each release while cutting on more and more features. No surveys on any of tech sites including gsmarena says that customer don't need a head phone jack, a micro sd card, a power charger in box. And sasmung sites that customer don't need them and environment bs. They first mock apple for bringing any change in market and then shamelessly follow their lead. How low can samsung fall before their customer realize how fraud this company is. Keep continuing with same tactics and I bet soon the shipment number will fall even more drastically.

For that matter, all flagships can be cheaper but samsung is a bit too expensive. At least in my region.

Also considering rhe sheer number of phones Samsung manufacturers, it could easily bargain proces from all accessories makers, and also use a single mould (except camera island), for making multiple models from the same mould.
The 9000+ series should be explored for it's Asian and Europeam markets, if it doesn't cause issued with Snapdragon.

They should have done that with great software support. FE series should be launched with one year old chipset with 500-600USD(3 major updates). A series with snapdragon 7 series chipset with 350-450USD(2 major updates). I don't care about M series and F series. They are absolutely trash in my opinion. Maybe they can use Dimensity chipset.
