Such action would also benefit component suppliers which expect significant yearly growth.

Anonymous, 06 Jul 2022Apple is no longer happy with you paying $800 for a phone, ... moreI like it how you say that with a straight face all while all the Android vendors are doing exactly the same and you're gladly paying it just the same. But mocking Apple, cool, mocking anyone else, not cool. Just look at all the Chinese vendors selling phones for 1000€ all while still offering exactly the same legendary bad software support. Apple at least does that well...

SShock, 06 Jul 2022The thing I liked about Apple was that if you bought any iP... moreThat's because they running out of ideas to differentiate the vanilla versions from the Pro versions. So, the different chipsets is what the customers will see first. Now, people who will buy the Pro variants will think that those extra prices are worth it.
Marketing BS if you ask me. But, that's nothing new for Apple.

iPhone should get Apple M2, better than iPad Air M1 already.

There is no meaning to be compared to old iPad Pro 4 (2020) 6gb ram,
        outdated A12Z packaging.

Getting the A16 is still low spec compared to iPad M1/M2.

Honestly, I care about when iPhone use the usb-C more than the chipset. The current chipset is fine already.

Anonymous, 06 Jul 2022Since no more small iPhone, I bet 14 will get 120hz display... moreIt definitely needs some USP.
At the moment it's the same design, same notch, same 60Hz display, same camera...

SShock, 06 Jul 2022The thing I liked about Apple was that if you bought any iP... moreApple is no longer happy with you paying $800 for a phone, let alone $700 , which iPhone used to cost for quite long time until it became mini price. They want $1000 and they will get it.

SShock, 06 Jul 2022The thing I liked about Apple was that if you bought any iP... moreWeren't you the one that keeps saying that specs don't matter and Apple optimisations matter and bla bla. So now, your complaining about not having the latest and greatest chip on the iPhone 14. Haha. iPhone users lol

might as well just buy the previous 13, 13 pro/pro max instead rather than the regular 14, the camera still the same anyway

Anonymous, 06 Jul 2022I know people will buy it anyway but if rumours are true I ... moreSince no more small iPhone, I bet 14 will get 120hz display. That's the selling point.

The thing I liked about Apple was that if you bought any iPhone, you got essentially the same chipset. Now they'll be segmenting them within same model year and that's just garbage. First they jacked up the prices because of the Mini model, now they removed the Mini and they'll probably just keep the high prices of the past for regular model. And to get actual new chipset, you'll have to go for Pro that's like 200€ more than the regular model. Yeah, I don't think so.

I know people will buy it anyway but if rumours are true I fail to see why anyone would buy the regular iPhone 14. Might as well get the 12, 13 or 13 Pro.
