Xiaomi 12 Lite gets listed in Europe for €500

The Mi 11 Lite 5G NE has been available for 200€ several times over lately so I guess the 12 lite will have a similar cycle where it will drop to 350€ very fast and then reduce in price down to 200€ eventually, just in time for the 13 lite to be announced.

If they use the same display that they used in MI 11 Lite 5G NE, this is going to be trash.
For the record, in MI 11 Lite 5G NE they had 2 supliers for display

May I say I had one of the bad ones and it was so bad that it made me give up on Xiaomi after 7 years of using just Xiaomi.
Such practices of releasing 2 different quality displays for the same device with same price seem just lack of respect from this company!
I bet you, all the influencers and reviewers will get the quality displays, and us average folks than get the FUZZY displays!

Anonymous, 06 Jul 2022Note 11 Pro+ was announced for €440. Not impossible. The same price as the Motorola Edge 30. And that looks like a very good phone all around. And is omitted by many people. Which for me, makes it even more interesting, because I dislike hyped phones.

n my country it's only selling the SD888 variant though. I heard that is also an Exynos variant and that is actually better.
Anyway, 500€ for a Lite Xiaomi is a little too high. But is 2022, so nothing surprises me anymore.

500€? it has to be a "place holder price". cause no way they selling these at 500 euros.
Its pretty much the same as 11 lite 5g /ne, but with a 120hz screen instead of 90hz. And those models were like around 300€ or so.
For 500€ you can get last years flagship phones with better specs.

That's quite the increase in price - the 11 Lite 5G NE is around €270 here in Sweden, and I kind of doubt the 12 Lite will be worth paying nearly double for. I suspect the 11 Lite 5G NE (ridiculous name) will be a better value, if the €500 price tag is correct.

Also flagship get longer software updates, like s20fe will be supported until 2024, most midrange from this year may not receive updates in 2025.

Hemedans, 06 Jul 2022For €500 you can get A73 or Last year Flagship. 12 lite is pretty much same as A73 while the difference is in cameras and that the 12 lite have 67W fast charger over A73 25W charger.
Also why would you buy year old flagship model when you anyways already spend 500 euro for a phone ? It's one of the dumbest suggestion i have seen and i have seen it being said a lot
