And most current curved screens are micro curve like Oneplus 8, Xiaomi 12S, Oppo Find X5, Realme GT Explorer Master. Nothing phone has disappointed, they should produce 1T/ pro soon with curved screen.

Gestures are also very nice on it but I can see having a case would make some problems (I don't use one). But not every case would cause this issue.
However, there are too many significant downsides to curved screens:
Picture distortion.
Colour distortion.
Glare lines.
Accidental touches.
Accidental touch prevention software ends up blocking touches that are needed (like clicking on things in the corner or edge of the screen).
Screen protectors are limited.
It's just so hard to justify the pros with so many cons.

Kingchin33, 07 Jul 2022Buying second hand or months after release at a lower price... morenot everyone buy phones just for design. they have to do a lot of research in phone specs then buy. this phone only focused on design. while iphones are focused in everything. such as chipset performance, camera, etc. just like other android flagships.

nanagdad, 07 Jul 2022Oneplus 8 was a beauty to hold & more comfortable to ho... morethey prone to accidental touches while using one hand. have to use both to avoid the issue. curved screen are just terrible imo. in case if the screen breaks, the entire digitizer stop working. sometimes it stopped in certain portion of the display. unless you are so careful of your main phone then you use a secondary phone for daily use.

xocomaox, 07 Jul 2022What possible reasons could you want a curved screen?Oneplus 8 was a beauty to hold & more comfortable to hold. No sharp edges. Full screen gesture swipes are smooth. Try that with a cover on these flat slabs not so fun especially the back gestures

I don't understand what the purpose of revealing the phone's spec one by one like this, why can't they just reveal the whole spec at once so that the people who are invited or want to buy can know what kind of phone they will get?

Prices for the iPhone SE (2022) at the release date cost $429 / £419 / AU$719 for the 64GB version. The 128GB costs £469 / $479 / AU$799, while the 256GB model cost £559 / $579 / AU$969.
So 256gb storage option on release for the iPhone SE at £559 will be around the same price as the Nothing Phone 1 on release 256gb storage variant.
The iPhone SE has a better cpu/gpu but the Nothing Phone is better in some other areas, including design, screen size etc.

Still the position of the fingerprint scanner is too low not ideal. Why can't they place it a little higher like Oneplus 8 or oppo find x5. And I would have preferred a curved screen not just another flat slab. Anyway all these cons are deal breakers for me I will look somewhere else.
