My preference may be different, but I actually wanna see even slower charging speeds for overnight charging. Anything below 5W, like 1W to 4W so that I could let my phone charging overnight from 20% to 80% in the morning as I wake up. That way, the degradation will be super minimal, as the charger and the battery itself will barely heat up during the super slow overnight charging process.
If possible, I'd love to get such option from the phone, wherein the phone manufacturer could give me a 30W to 65W charger but I get to decide exactly just how much power to use from that charger, so that I could turn it back to super fast charging when needed, and then turn it back to super slow 1W charging if I'm charging my phone overnight.
To add icing on top of the cake, I wish that OEMs would also program an algorithm in which if the phone's battery charge reaches to a set percentage level (like maybe 80 to 90) and it is still plugged in, then instead of further charging the phone battery, the phone can instead use the supplied power by the charging brick to power up the device instead of the battery itself, and then switch it back to the battery once it is unplugged from the wall. This is pretty much a laptop feature that I wanna see on smartphones get implemented for prolonging the battery's lifespan and not degrade them quickly in a few years.
I hope phone manufacturers would be considerate enough to actually focus on longevity of their phones rather than forcing users to upgrade to the new models after just a few years of use, even if the old phones are still very functional and usable.

I care about this phone.. Thanks for keeping us updated on Nothing's phone..
I see a lot of hate in the comments regarding this phone. Well let me say, not everything is about technical specs, chipset and RAM.
This phone has unique features, a new design language and we are about to discover that Nothing took also care in proper user experience on the interface..
I have a Sony Xperia and it has flagship electronics, but the UI is hell, even at the point that the camera is useless to record video.
So, every phone which comes out with a solid work on the UX is worth checking.. Not many brands do it now a days..

Just waiting fir this phone, all I wanted was to have wireless charging in budget as no ojine provide wireless charging in budget yet, everyone is giving same design, technology which is getting boring and useless now. Nothing has created innovative phone with all tacky features, light and look and even budget wireless plus reverse wireless charging also. No one need 120w charging, everyone have powerbank now.

Are you joking ? how does it happens environment where they are selling the same charger in new box which ends up with additional use of paper + plastic + other materical of the brick ? + they are asking customer to pay $20 to $70 extra for that charger
including the charger in the box would have been much better help to save environment.
+ on top of this, they are charging customer for new brick where i believe they could have asked to return the old brink and take a new 1 for free or by paying $5 or $10 max for it, which would have possible help in someway to save the environment as then can use old brink material to recycle it and use for new brink or on phone or somewhere else.
but no, they will not take old brink back, they will give new box which will increase the usage of plastic, paper, etc + they will charge & also increase the price of new phones make their own profit and customer has to suffer -_-
and coming to company "nothing", nothing phone 1, its a 1st phone, customer should get charger for free in the box beside for every other company they should also add charger in the phone box because every phone comes with different charging speed and so on... what if i have a phone which do not support fast charging and my new pone support fast charging but do not have charger in the box, why should i pay for it ?
it should be against consumer law
its like, i've old tv with remote but if u r buying new tv we will not give u new remote which is compatible, if u want new remote go buy 1 -_- (lol, after noticing this trend this might start actually happen in near future xD)
