GSMArena should stop posting about Nothing phones. It is irritating and nobody cares.

Zuzuz, 08 Jul 2022Do you have a proof that the battery are destroyed so quick... moreThey said the same for 30W warp charging. Been charging daily (now twice a day) using warp and after nearly 3 years the battery is down to 78% capacity. This would be inline of normal degregation regardless if I used a fast charger or not. I don't know how other technologies work but VOOC tends to keep the heating in the brick.

Newer phones also leverage this across 2 cells. If we have a device that does say 60W fast charging then it's usually 30 per cell. So they shouldn't have an issue with 60W charging if they think 33W is acceptable.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2022That's a welcome feature, and good that they didn'... moreGuess you haven't used anything VOOC related if you think such a technology kills the battery in "No time".

People are funny. When Samsung gives 25 W charging (no, that's not a big difference from 33 W), it's all bad. A no name brand gives 33 W and suddenly it's all OK.
Really, you are just a bunch of dumb children.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2022When phone companies test their fast charging tech, it is d... moreRight. It won't be constantly charging at 33W, it's the peak rating. I have a USB-C cable with a LED readout and all of my devices fluctuate while charging. To be charging at 33W or even 120W all the time is really bad for the device, especially if the environment is too warm. Short bursts are fine, and that's what companies are trying to cover up with marketing.

[deleted post]Controlled leaks have always been a thing, companies would rather jump the gun than let a misleading leak come out and make the real product look bad in comparison.

its a real costly phone for a just a glowing back..! buy gt master instead same phone but cheap..! and u get headphone jack..! + 65 watt charging...!

Zuzuz, 08 Jul 2022Do you have a proof that the battery are destroyed so quick... moreWhen phone companies test their fast charging tech, it is done in controlled lab environments, all of which are minimally harmful to batteries and that gives them the 20 percentage loss figures. Actual world condition are far different then those tests

They are trying way too hard to get attention and create hype but failing miserably. In India they are asking 2000 INR as booking pass so you can buy without invitations. What is wrong with this company, hilarious.

That's enough now. Wait until all the details have been released and incorporate them into one article.

Should have been 67W/65W with that price, but 33W is okay though

33W charging speeds is decent enough. My new phone has the same. And it tops out in about 45-50 minutes. Compared to some 65W capable phones that I had in the past, I am loosing about 10-15 minutes. Totally fine for me.

Probably is PD, so 45W is more common value than 33.
