Chïñese companies keep doing this around the globe in every sphere be it construction, loans, cars or In this case phones from cheap quality internals to Spyware and the obvious money laundering, Atleast India is holding them accountable unlike other countries still unaware of this fiasco.

I don't blame these chinese trashy companies. They know very well where they are conducting their business, that's India. Those who live here do not have a brain and obviously companies like these who appeared just for the quick cash grab will utilise that.

Tax collection is only relevent if the governments in place are not corrupted and put peoples money to good use..

A country like Singapore has little corruption to none

India on the other hand Im not too sure about

Good job. The only illegal activity which even druglords or mafias fear is tax evasion. Government will do anything to get their money back. XD

First it was Xiaomi and now Vivo. I dont think it's the phone companies, They setup shop in India to make business and money no? Only IDIOTS do charity.
Sounds like india need to sort out their FDI rules. Wont' be surprised BIG tech companies avoid doing business in india because of this.

If the tax evasion turns out to be true then vivo directors are gigachads. The era of people protecting their income from the state's hands and waste has arrived

It's already bad enough that USA is throwing allegations against Huawei with no evidence, but India doing the same against another Chinese company? Sorry, India, but BBKs got plenty of other companies to take its place if you're gonna cut one down.

Also, if you guys see the Division's leaders fleeing as a sign, they're doing it out of fear, not wrongdoing. Remember what America did to Huawei's CEO's daughter?

Given the fact that the India-China relationship has been absolutely terrible following the ongoing border dispute, I can't help but take this so-called "allegation" with several buckets of salt. This whole movement along with its punishments towards Xiaomi seems more of an economical sanction to me.

Thieves ran away from country. Government should ban Vivo altogether
