Still on iPhone 8. I’m 41. It does everything I need. Will stay on my 8 for ten more years if it lasts! 🤷🏼♂️
Costs me £7 a month for SIM card. Whole family is costing £20 a month. 🤷🏼♂️🙌🏻🙌🏻
Put anything saved into my future instead of lining the pockets of the already wealthy. 🤷🏼♂️
If and when I need a new phone it’ll be old and never new technology. Later suckers!!!

The point of security updates, and what I think you’ll find is the actual narrative pushed by software engineers at both Google and Apple, is to mitigate the risks of falling foul of the latest exploits, thats mitigate not eliminate those risks.
I’ve both watched and read enough interviews with representatives of both sides to know full well they never claim their software or services are 100% secure. Not sure where you are getting the idea this is the case.

Then use 5 versios of iOS as excuse to justify price.
- Still Full HD screen, when first QHD phone is from 2013 and first 4K from 2015.
- still 8bit screen, which cannot properly display content recorded in 10-bit, 12-bit or 16-bit.
- low PMW frequancy, awful for eyes
- no periscope, tech created in 2001 by Minolta and than used by Asus in 2015. With zoom lens by the way.
- worst Super Wide of all expensive phones, with more distortion and softer corners than Samsung that also uses same focal length.
- ultra heavy despite smaller cameras and battery compared to other phones.
My favorite facts about the iphone:
- pathetic cine mode that looks like webcam footage with riduculously flawed fake background blur.
- $600 to replace rear glass that is just gorilla 6 with another name.
Here comes my favorite : ProRes codec is limited to 1080p on variants with 128GB. And the worst part, the Lightning is based on usb 2.0, which is too low to transfer files that huge which is the case of ProRes (basically raw video mode). Pathetic speed of 0,48 Gbps.
Just to compare :
Lightning = 0,48Gbps
C 3.2 Gen 1 = 5 Gbps
C 3.2 Gen 2 = 10Gbps

If I am looking to buy a premium Android phone and it is stated to receive five updates then it's nice to know, but anything lesser is not a deal breaker
Perhaps Android users are not obsessed with updates as much as iPhone users are. Most of them don't keep their phone for too long anyways
