Same happened to Xiaomi, there were (and still is) so many "it's cheap chinese" comments before it outperformed Samsung in sales in certain regions and worldwide. Huawei as well, even Apple before every child could afford one. Let's wait and see if history repeats itself with Nothing.

Whats the point of having symmetrical bezel if the side bezel has the same size as regular chin on another phone.

Usually bezels don't affect me much but ... moreIf I were to nitpick on thousand dollar phones, it would be their availability of practical features like headphone jack and microSD card slot, as well as having my two speakers facing towards me on the front instead of only one and the other on the bottom. Bezels, on the other hand, are more than tolerable to me, because I never had any issue using one in the past, and I still don't today, but what's definitely an isssue for me is if the display has a stupid cutout for something like a front camera, because it takes away the fun of full-screen experience of the phone if the content that I'm consuming is being blocked by a hideous screen cutout.

Whatever, the phone might be, I want a Nothing Phone (1) without a transparent back and lights. I want a more subtle phone, but with all that Nothing(1) has to offer.

I am not a great fan of the design, but I like the idea of a dual camera phone, instead of a lot of modules. Ideally rhe perfect mid ranger should have an ultra wide, a regular wide, and a 3x zoom. But, if ur were to only have 2 cameras, a semi ultra wide and a 3x zoom would be perfect. An ultra wide is mostly unnecessary, if the main camera is wide enough. Also, if it's a quad pixel type sensors than, it could be both a wede and an ultra wide,with miminal loss of quality.

he avoid confrontation with the flagships. Which is well, i guess wise move when he may have hardtime to compete with the $800~900 class flagships.
move to $400 and your opponent is more of samsung A53 and its peers.
