The last time I followed phone news, Chinese phones were the king for midrange and lower phones. Now Samsung takes the cake by selling competitively specced phones just like the Chinese used to do lmao

My only issue with Samsung is they seem to develop niggling issues these days. A friend has the S9 (or S10, I forgot) and his phone has multiple sensor issues after a software update. Girlfriend got an A33 5G as standard issue company phone and that one has the "USB has been plugged in" notification issue (very common, look up on Samsung forums), not to mention that the phone feels and looks cheap (ironically compared to Chinese brands).

Not to hate on Samsung, my first phones were all Samsungs but that was Galaxy Mini and Ace era.

I've been out of the loop for a... morethat is the reason why i started to buy phones online. no fuss and no worries getting pressed by oppo or vivo salesman. i can decide which brand should i buy. anyways, oppo and vivo products are so overpriced. in flagship and midrange models. low ends are priced as xiaomi phones.😂 if samsung salesman offers a better phone, it would be fine.

I've been out of the loop for a while (last phone I personally bought was a Lenovo from 2015) and it seems like every non tech savvy buyer always ends up with Oppo if not Samsung.

      That aside, the last time I went out for a new phone I was pushed to buy Vivo instead. Wonder how much the guy got paid by Vivo to push their phones haha. When I said I wanted a Realme or Xiaomi instead, he'd rather me buy an Oppo too.

          Unb1453d, 12 Jul 2022How annoying can that be?it depends. whenever you go inside the phone store, the sellers will stand up and runs to the target then surrounding them to promote with inferior oppo devices. like, just leave them alone and buy something else... so if you like to buy offline, make sure you dont go alone.

              Rareart1, 12 Jul 2022Why does this have 33w charging... and my s22 doesn't?25w is fast enough for samsung, atleast they dont ruin the battery too much. 33w for this phone has a larger battery so youre like comparing your compact s22 that has 3000mah to a large bulky oppo that has 5000mah.

                          it sometimes doesnt pick the signal from the provider rather it displays no service. importing phones from japan can be a different story.

                                  For people even considering this "brand" : you get max 6 months software support and thats it. Your name will be associated with cheapness. You spend money for ch!nese product means you support lack of human rights. Think twice if its not better to buy 2nd hand Samsung...

That is a very profitable market as they don't know what they are buying and rely on sales staff who push models like this. The poor price to performance ratio leaves room for sales staff to offer a discount to consumers and still receive high commission
