nanagdad, 12 Jul 2022Who uses such phones?Hundreds of thousands of elderly and disabled people use these phones. Then there are people with limited incomes who cannot afford smart phones. There are also people who regularly lose their phones - homeless people to quote one example. Just because feature phones aren't appropriate for you doesn't mean there's no market for them. Perhaps it's time to think about the needs of others as well as your own?

Nokia, I think this is kinda wasting your expenses because actually you can produce cheaper but valuable Android phone like Nokia 6.1. I mean example my old 65 y.o dad wants to use youtube and even smartphone has better accessibility features for disabled people.

The inclusion of tws earbuds are great feature !! Like how many devices am i supposed to charge before I head out ??? This is great . Just charge your phone and earbuds get charged on it's own ! Cool

nanagdad, 12 Jul 2022Who uses such phones?There are people who only need phone for calls and SMS and nothing else. They don't need heavy clumsy brick in their pocket that barely lasts for 1 day.
My main issue with these is how phones are designed without any thought for use made by some clueless fashion designer. And seeing both examples here, they have the exact same issue as the new fancy Nokia 3310 (the one with curved design and fancy colors) my dad used few years ago. The issue is, they have silver buttons and white text on them. My dad couldn't see s**t on that keyboard and neither could I and I still have good eyes. I don't know whose brilliant idea was to put text of almost same color as buttons. He sold it then and bought black CAT phone that has black buttons and white text. Imagine that, contrast! You can see it clearly almost any time.

There are decent smartphones at around 100-150EUR. No need to spend 300EUR for other smartphones, if you need just basic stuff. Also, texting is a lot easier on smartphones with touch screen (especially for elder people).
But, probably HMD wants to bury Nokia for good.

Nokia still able to sell them, well done.
Many young kids, and older people's still need them.
But, already a 4G equipped,
Why not make one that support Whatssap & Telegram, at least?
Since, it's meant as communication tool, even though not a smartphone.

Smartphones come with a lot of negative side effects, no one can deny that, if someone need a phone for calls and SMS then these phones are enough. no need to spend more for unnecessary features.

Don't get this even the Sony Ericsson back like 15 years ago had better cameras the Sony Ericsson Elm I had pee's all over anything these idiots are producing, I don't get it these so called feature phones have gone backwards they have not progressed at all, VGA camera wtf! Micro USB what? In 2022 when they have already implemented USB-C on other feature phones this company has no idea and make some very weird decisions.
I hope the 8210 doesn't run KaiOS cos that is sh1te!
