e0ne199, 20 Jul 2022you think your internal memory is reliable? 😂By far much more reliable than some tiny piece of plastic. The higher card capacity and speed, the higher risk of failure, especially in modern overheating phones.

FE is more affordable and you know very well they will never drop the price of the S22 enough.

Smart move. People want top models. And if you're looking for something cheaper - well, S21FE isn't cheap anyways. Just go for A series.

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2022They already have a huge oversupply of phones, Samsung will... moreAs with marketing, the plus variant is not for actually selling phones but giving the nudge to buying the Ultra (or staying with S22). Samsung has years worth of sales projections and this would already be in the maths for the next.

I returned S22 due to very poor battery life. Now I have S22 Ultra. I barely can get 5h screen on time, that is less than iphone 13 mini. After just 3 months of use battery health already dropped to 90% due to phone overheating. Mind that i only charge to 85% not 100%, so other people might have even worse situation. Overall - S22 Ultra is a flop, very sad samsung is selling a lot, people should be smarter.

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2022They already have a huge oversupply of phones, Samsung will... moreExactly, excessive supplies that are not sellling well.
In my country, they’re even bundling free stuff like a 24 inch Samsung Computer Monitor and a Samsung Air Purifier and even giving discounts in order to entice people to buy their phones. Too bad people are still not buying them. 😂

The S21 FE wasn't much of a phone for fans anyways. It's just flagship in SoC while remaining stripped off of function and features that fans were finding missing on the regular models, plus most of the material and components are midrange at best. Same can be said for the S20 FE but i feel it's still the better device than the S21 FE.

Looking at the S21 FE, I'm not sure if I'll miss it. It's more Lite than FE, that's for sure.

This isn't that bad in my opinion. The S21 FE was already a downgrade from the S20 FE because it lost the microSD card slot and the Snapdragon 888 is often less efficient and more hot than the Snapdragon 865 (depending on bins, which seem to vary greatly with the Snapdragon 888).
Also, Exynos has been catching up a little in the past few years, it's still not as good, but not as bad as the Exynos 999 in the S20 series while Snapdragon has been stagnating (in terms of performance) or even degrading (by getting hotter every year). Apart from the SoC not much is different in the Fan Edition series compared to the main S series and I think it wouldn't really be worth it making an S22 FE even spec-wise because of the former-mentioned aspects.

They already have a huge oversupply of phones, Samsung will not produce as many new models as before. I wouldn't be surprised if S23 only come in normal and ultra without any plus variant.

blue, 19 Jul 2022Yes, I called it an outdated technology, since an on-board ... more"better" in speeds but not in long term storage. And only people who buy fake sd cards get issues with them. All other folks who buy a proper product suffer no issues

Samsung should release Galaxy A93 with snapdragon 8+gen1 and then the world would go crazy.
