That enormous 1" sensor plus the two other Sony sensors on the back cost less than the Snapdragon chipset or the Samsung-made display.

Isn't that there are rumours about the IMX989 sensor won't be exclusive to Xiaomi only? Maybe that is why the sensor can cost $79.

      What design? Every phone is a copy paste of one another for a decade now. That huge circle on the back? Getting rid of the second display? Yeah, that "designer" should be fired, not paid.

      Research into what? Literally every single part of the phone was made by someone else, other their their UI skin, which is atrocious.

      Rent is paid ONCE every month, not for every single unit sold.

      Salaries are paid from the 200% profit margin.

        They think other are selling for $1300 phones that cost $400-450 to be made, when some of them have final costs near $700.

        Main Cpt Power. He believes xiaomi phones have 5% profit margins while other have 200%.

                                  Judging by the thickness, Casing/Waterproofing is about $35-40.
                                  Xiaomi skipps on 99,99% of the devices by own choice.
                                  All phones sold for more than $200 should have at least IP67. No matter the brand.

                                    Now people can see chinese phones are cheaper to make. And reading specs does not give you idea of how much phone can cost.

                                      Now I understand why there’s still blowing out highlights despite being an 1” sensor 🤔. Google pixel phone still has best dynamic range despite being a small sensor than this phone.
