Looking good Sony. But after so many failed smartphones, people will be reluctant to buy a Sony. Plus Sony has be in the red financially for years now.

Terrible colour clipping, and also garish colours. I really hope Samsung sort that out with the S4, cos thats one area iPhones beat Samsung for sure - colour reproduction.

i like gangnam style but im not a sammy fan boy ha ha ha,,, for now i just love my xperia acro s,,,and im waiting for that xperia togari,,, good luck for that xperia z,,, theres so many people waiting for you here in the philippines... the only flagship from other brand that attracts lots of Samboys is SXZ. thats because 1: they didn't see premium designs like this from Sammy and they want to come and enjoy the design. 2: they're afraid of this phone and its potentials, so they try to downgrade it with their bull sh*ts.

leviticus, 09 Feb 2013Non removable battery is the big issue for me so, wouldn't ... morewho actually walk with an extra battery in this day and age the, am out there house for about 12 to 13hrs a day and my nexus 4 battery last me for the day until about 10% or so however Sony have the stamina mode that can double the battery life so u just making excuses just to buy Samsung crap

I'd buy it at once if it has 3000mah battery, even Oppo find 5 which has 2500mah didn't do well in battery test.
PASS and waiting for GS4.

I think you dont even have a spare, you just like to tell us that you love samsung (since only samsung make flagships with removable batteries) but you know that noone listen to you if you reveal that you are a samsung fanboy.
I have Note 2 and will change to Xperia Z. Disadvantages of Note 2 is
1. Low PPI display, the low quality of small text is bothering me. The lack of detail in dark images and movies is another concern, m y Xperia Pro was far better (Thanks to Mobile Bravia Engine)
2. Power button is too soft (problem on S2 and S3 also) and if you (accidentally) hold it in for 10 sec the phone reboots. Samsung REALLY have to change reboot to a key combination like all other brands use.
3. UI is heavy and hard to navigate, important features are left out and useless gimmicks are included.
4. S-Voice is utterly stupid and does not work, but it screws up the home button.
Have a look at UI videos of Xperia V, see how a dual core on ICS outperforms TouchWiz performance in Jelly Bean, very convincing. And, i had Xperia Pro before i got the Note 2, i miss the Pro, so efficient and clean UI. Samsung call it touchwiz but Sony is the one with the added touch. Faster and better than Samsung with a build quality that exceeds iphone, the Z is perfect.
