Anonymous, 25 Jul 2022pixel 6 complete line-up is good, the only complaint is tha... moreThe value for this phone is the camera and processing the tensor chip brings. Check out GSMARENA's latest review of best cameras available for 2022

      Let me say this way,
I got pixel 6 pro, I love it, only issue is battery, from beginning was amazing 8+non display, then come march big feature update and battery is crap to have 8+ on display need 2x a day charging. ( not I not play game just just phone against pc)
And tensor yes is fine for most normal job, but is samsung rebranding exynos so is horrible heat, video in fullhd/60 longer then 4 min is come overheat phone and take down quality of video to cinema cam quality picture. Yes speed of charge sometimes is sucks is well. Not saying must be 100w but sometimes have problem charge 5 hours = 60%, against next charge 2 hours from 10% to 100%
But yes that Pixel 6 pro, my wife has pixel 6 and she got similar issues maybe little less but she use it few times a day not like me.

the Pixel 6a's retail package comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, USB-C to 3.5mm audio dongle...
I think it should be a USB-A to USB-C adaptor...

pixel 6 complete line-up is good, the only complaint is that they are bit overpriced for indian markets, else it is better than those all chinese phones put together (clean user interface and very responsive)

Anonymous, 25 Jul 20223.4 is fair score. No more is not correct. Too many cons.... more- The Tensor chips tend to be more focused on the GPU side with its Mali-G78 MP20, look at how the Pixel 6 literally beat the heck out of 60% of phones using the Snapdragon 888(+). And it ain't that weak either. I can say that the Tensor is AT LEAST on par with the Snapdragon 865. Even if it's on par with the SD855+, the 855+ is still a powerful chipset that's vastly capable with everyday usage. Moreover, this phone is $449, and with the Tensor, it's literally one of the best in term of performance.
              - Glass is glass and glass breaks. The Corning Gorilla Glass is just used as marketing element. Plus, the 3th generation of CGG has superior scratch resistant comparing to later generation. And what phone at $300 has GG6? You are literally on delulu.
              - The camera and video performance on the 6a, I can say, is on par with the 5 and 5a. And Pixel ain't very popular with video recording anyway.
              - I don't even think IP rating is that important, lol. Who are even gonna use their phone underwater anyway? IP rating is just gonna make you worry less when you use your phone under conditions like rain or wet environment. Even a phone with IP68 can still die underwater, bruh.
              - Google has been limiting storage options too actually saving some money on productions, and then they can use it for better stuffs.
              - 'Portrait camera'? You mean those 2mpx camera? HELL NAH. The ultrawide camera is one of the most-used camera on a phone, much more comparing to those, like 'macro' or 'portrait' camera. Sure, a good sensor for those could improve them a lot, but like, who even needs that?

Great phone and great to have tensor inside instead of mid-range from Snapdrogon.

First "- gorilla 3 is from 2011/12. Not even $90 phones should use. Phones above $300 should have gorilla 6 at least." Gorilla glass is pure marketing, glass is glass and it brakes.
Video recording is better than Pixel 5a.
"- super wide instead of "portrait " camera" Portrait camera is a gimmick, while Ultrawide is useful camera module.

3.4 is fair score. No more is not correct. Too many cons.

                        - Tensynos on pair with old 855+. With bad modem.
                        - gorilla 3 is from 2011/12. Not even $90 phones should use. Phones above $300 should have gorilla 6 at least.
                        - camera performance is weaker than pixel 5 and 5a. Video recording is very low quality and super ultra processed, looks like webcam footage upscaled .
                        - jack has been removed
                        - no 256GB option
                        - only IP67
                        - super wide instead of "portrait " camera

I don't know what is it but I really like the design of 6a, even more than the 6 I'm using, guess due to less protruding camera "visor". It's just sleek and unique enough to be instantly recognisable. Wish the specs would match the design tho lol For that price they should of kept the 90Hz and a 3.5mm jack. Let's hope battery life gets better due to lower refresh rate.

As i said in my previos post, first results are very bad.
Waiting for full review as i sad before, hoping for 90hrs endurance rating at least. That would be on par with Pixel 6 and plenty enough for me.
Combination of short battery life and slow charging is not the way to go for me.

Anonymous, 24 Jul 2022this phone is literally irrelevant. The regular Pixel 6 is ... moreIf you want a smaller size and a fingerprint sensor that has a chance of working, it's not irrelevant. ;)

The battery life seems so poor with this Tensor chip. 5nm sounds great but ultimately means nothing when it comes to efficiency. Combine that with the inferior modem compared to Qualcomm and the low screen refresh rate, and you have a phone that struggles to compete with the Galaxy A53 and even the Nothing Phone.

Really interested in how the battery life compared to the 6. Given it's the tensor chip, I don't have the high hopes. Love the battery life of the pixel 5a.

You can get 9-12hrs SOT if you use wifi, 6-8hrs sot (mobile data ) use

Really looking forward buying this phone.
My only concern is battery life, hearing some bad things on YT, 3-4 hours of SoT and stuff like that.
No way i'm buying this phone if that turns up to be true.
Other than that, looks damn nice.
Just a perfect size, Pixel 6 is just to bulky and boxy for me.
                                        Waiting for your review!
