        miss intel atom on Zenfone 2..one of the best chip in the market..but the heat ughh..hope Intel fix that

          Intel makes one of the best fabs when comparing at the same nm. The problem is intel is hesitant to sell their fabs

They have the capacities, there is a demand, why not sell it to others? Would be ironic if Intel also made AMD Ryzen and Radeon chips, but hey, money is money. Their first business partner is Mediatek, you can be sure eventually Qualcomm will make some Snapdragon chips in Intel foundries too. Why wouldn't they if that means easing the supply of chips to make more smartphones faster with them? Besides, Qualcomm also makes processors for other stuff, like routers, not just smartphones.

                Intel has fallen so much it has to resort to making 3rd tier chips.
