I am waiting for rollabels, should also be cheaper to made because only 1 screen and those would be also not as thick as these.

Anonymous, 26 Jul 2022Nobody gonna be using tiny screens in 5 years. The trend to... moreMan 6 or 7 inch fr a phone is great noone will buy 1500 eur fragile folding device with zero durability main screen which cost 900 to repair and breaks on a nail scratch.

You don't see the future, companies do so they try stuff. Apple , too, would be involved in the race but only after the tech matures (late '20s IMO). Expect an iFold...
But man i see the future and is nowhere big company thinks it is. People thinks differently.
Company like samsung is targeting only for money and how to earn them but people want best available for affordable price.
Everything increasing nflation is really stupid. In 20-30 years phone like Redmi 10C now bought for 120 will cost 600.

Speaking about iphones giving me the screeps because SE 2022 cost 600 for a phone worth maybe 150 or 200. They probably gathered all unused sold and tossed away 6/7/8 devices and used their chasis to create SE 2022 to save as much as possible.
This way apple thinking as always because apart the apple and maybe Samsung no other company uses and sells refurbrished devices made from weak used materials.

Similarly I only know one guy to be carrying a fold and he is kind of a weird. By the end of the decade a bunch of people would... thing is wickedly impressive, if only it didn't have a bucket worth of drawbacks (tiny battery, not much greater screen estate to make sense, way too bulky to be used as a regular phone, among many others)
My friend know several people who just like me will never buy fold just because its durability is close to zero and repair cost are far higher than 80% of Slovakian citizens can afford.
With average salary of 700-900 euros per month from which like 40-60% goes to bills noone will buy your expensive phone and risk any kind even accidental damage.
    I wouldnt.
Even if i can afford fold made by Caviar wouldnt ever spend more than 400 for a phone just because anything more expensive are just money tossed out of window.
    End of story.

I don’t think the tech is there in 5 years either based on how small the improvements been in foldables. Also most people will still use ”tiny” screens after next 5 years.

In 5-10 years you would be able to and comments like yours would seem as comical as those expecting the original iPhone to be a flop because , and I quote, "people don't like software keyboards " (lol).

We're just in the early smartphone/PDA phase of those devices and nobody seriously wants them. I knew one person, literally just one to be carrying an XDA and by the end of that decade everyone would have its evolution (an iPhone or similar).

Similarly I only know one guy to be carrying a fold and he is kind of a weird. are they trying to cope with the fact that they can't remove the crease?! LOL

The Fold 4 and Flip 4 are not worth more then $500 and that's being generous and the main display is made of some type of special plastic that's awfully for a device that cost over $1000. The worst part is a fingernail can damage the main display for a device that supposed to be a premium flagship device what a joke 🤡. .Still no corning gorilla glass are on the new devices but Samsung is still raising the price😱 on the piece of junk 🤬devices that the main display is horrible and disgusted. The Surface duo 3 is going to be far superior to the disgusted Fold 4 and Flip 4 with no plastic for its main display and it will have corning gorilla glass on the main display. That’s the turth🤡😂😤

Customers are again being used as beta testers.

This is the accurate scenario, where Apple waits for a new technology to mature before implementing so that the consumer should not be used as lab rats.

No matter how muc stupid teasers, sciencist and Samsung CEO will try.
bar phones are lot better than foldables.
Flat screen is a lot better than curved ones.
Removable batteries were better than non removable.
Chargers in box were much better than new phones without chargers.
Full no edges screen were always better than Notch or punch hole screens etc.
Sim slot, SD slot and phones with Jacks were much better than phones with E-Sims no SD slots and no jack where people loose their option to use wired opr wireless.

                        And many else.
Samsung is stupid to emply people who dont know whats important.

If your flex still have crease and gap then flat is better.

Edge has never been, and will never be better than the flat screen.

Where is the rumored third foldable that Samsung might release this year? It's either a foldable or rollable.

I have a feeling these new foldables will sell worse than last year models. I wonder where they think they will get users to buy them when they have difficulties to find buyers for current models already.

I still think foldables break more than they fix, if you don’t need the bigger screen what there is left. I think these will stay niche product like Note line.

A foldable smartphone is very attractive, but it is not only very expensive, but if it breaks down, it will be difficult to repair and very expensive to repair.
Of course, if these shortcomings are solved, I want to buy them
