As for the first edition of the OnePlus Watch: when will it be unveiled?
Very soon.
When will it be available?
NEVER.
I wanted to give the first edition of the OnePlus Watch to my sister, I had been keeping an eye on their site for months, literally, I subscribed to the newsletters, I had requested the availability notice several times...... two or three times I got the notice, I immediately went to check the site and it was always unavailable!!!
I don't know if it's a twisted marketing strategy of theirs or if this watch simply never existed, anyway I finally got tired of waiting, told them to f*ck off and gave my sister the Mi Watch.
To this day I don't know if this watch ever existed, certainly with this way of doing things they didn't get my money.
If you want to sell something you have to make that thing actually available, otherwise after a while the hype goes away, people get sick and tired of waiting and righteously tell you to f*ck off.

    The square smartwatch for me personally is also aesthetically the way to go. Please note that I am a watch lover and have some serious mechanical round watches too, which I love.
    20-30 years back the top electronic LCD and LED watches were also square...
    I also cannot understand why so many people when they see square smartwatch, other than Apple Watch, often comment that it is an Apple Watch rip off...? This is purely a form factor and there are so much more factors like, the software, the interface, the sensors and...
    To be honest the Apple Watch is almost the ideal smartwatch for me personally, on all merits. Almost..., because it is not compatible with Android, which I am still using and the battery life.
    Maybe the new Oppo Watch 3 will nail it?
    We will see soon or I will be still waiting :)
