Yea, 2 much money. Something 3 years old shouldn’t go up in price with aging technology. But we have Apple to thank for that.....Apple made life so good but at the same time ruined life. That Monopoly sets every trend......Now it’s all about raising prices even though it should be the opposite. Greedy country.

Was gonna get one some time soon but at that price, I don't think it's really worth it anymore. It's kind of a shame, but I've lived without one this far. I'm sure I'll manage. ;)

Giving a digital game costs them basically nothing.
The "buy before that date for the best price" is to confuse those who are considering it and push them to fall into the trap.
This is still meta and still requires the hideous fb acc, so no, just no. Let their stock rot there.

I always felt 300 is too low for what it is offering and I read that meta was selling this at a loss. So the price rise is not a big deal.
What is a big deal? Apple pricing the iPhone 14 at the same price as iPhone 13 even while using last years chips and components but using inflation as an excuse to justify it. Apple and even samsung are kings of ripping off people.

presumably snapdragon xr3 on quest 3 will be released within the next 12 months and be same price as quest 2 now (US$399), can see decrease in sales from price increase significantly, is this case of short term gains for long term loss, probably within 18 months, quest 2 be half price when successor is released (US$199)

I dont understand why do these things need on board storage ? Isn't these like wearable monitor as a point ? Or is it now a computer in your face so it collects data and everything like that on it ? For that price i dont think it has very powerful graphics card and processor installed in it as that would make the price in 4 digits.

I've only spent $10 on the Quest store and that was to get Virtual Desktop. Most games on there are garbaggio
