Wait, they already reached third version? Lol.
Also, it is still required to have a Huawei ID to make the initial setup of the phone? Copy from Apple ID idea most likely.
Not to mention, where I live now, I absolutely need Google services (Translate, Maps being the most important ones). Even when I had iPhone in the past, I use Google services on it. No other similar apps that I've tried comes close to Google's ones.
If this issues can be solved in Harmony OS, then I could give it a try at some point. I had some Honor and Huawei phones some years ago and I remember the experience was smooth overall.

Or original .. they jealous and copy sony .. so you could exclude your 3rd ''suck'' and it conflicts with your 1st why u complaining it is only avail in china when you claiming it is copy o apple.. ?? so then both your ''sucks'' 1 and 2 are basically invalid or obsolete.. The rest just pulls Google's source and compiles it with their crap on top. Huawei basically forked Android AOSP and has been going their way. Maybe first Harmony was that, not it has probably evolved further from Android AOSP.

„Huawei also worked on optimizations. HarmonyOS 3.0 improves app launch time and responsiveness and reduces power usage during gaming (compared to HarmonyOS 2.0).“

I would wish to see those advertised as features in other OSes as well. If iOS 16 didn’t have the new Lock Screen and instead those optimizations and continued support for iPhone 6s and 7, I would have been more impressed.

The UI was pretty good but the lack of software was so frustating

How does the "sensing" of devices work if they're not on the same network? That sounds very interesting

Good looking and probably is flying compared to a lot of Android phones.
Good to see competition getting stronger.

3 things that suck about Harmony OS:

                                    1) Only available in China.
                                    2) No Google services.
                                    3) Literal copy of iOS.

Looks modern and pleasent to the eye, but at the end of the day, it's all about usability. If you can't really use all apps freely that's an issue, no matter how good they make the OS.

If they could make some sort of backports of Google's API's and services via their own, so apps wouldn't just crap out if Gapps is not found, that would fix it all for Huawei.
