I saw a tear down. It’s not a 1” camera sensor like they claimed, it’s still big though, but not 1”, so basically they lied for Marketing purposes

Is the Ultra only slightly better than the previous year's Xiaomi 11? Has smart imaging, especially sensors, reached their saturation point?

Not even counting any potential other taxes.

It would be one of the hottest devices of it were available worldwide and for $300 less than an s22 ultra. Why would anyone go through a lot of trouble to import an inferior product that costs the same as a superior one that is readily available.

PS: yeah i know i can import it but chinese apps, only english available rom, no support, not all 4G/5G bands etc thanks but no thanks.

this phone upgraded hw but, downgraded market, as expected. looks like pricing gone very wrong last year. chinese brands have to learn decreasing their prices is a must outside of homeland. everybody knows they have one of the lowest costs (including cheapest engineers) in the world.

1) Why does the Leica Vivid mode instead of just adding some saturation to colors , make photos overprocessed, too contrasty and ugly like Pixels do?
