[deleted post]Samsung is a conglomerate. Samsung Display doesn’t care if Samsung Electronics (that makes phones) has a rivalry with one of their customers (in this case, Apple). If Samsung Display can make a profit by supplying Apple, they will do it.

Honestly at this point who will buy the "basic" iPhone 14 and 14 Max?!
No new notch, screen is the same, same A15... They could make people buy them if they release them with a decent pricing (lower/old specs -> lower price) but its Apple so sheeps go buy your new iPhone 13... 14 sorry.

The only thing I don't like about apple, are those colors that are not at all masculine, I understand that it is a product for girls as well, but I would like to see more masculine products, a masculine watch, a more masculine iphone pro max design and colors for men

While samsung still keeps to S series panels with low flickering frequency, lower brightness uniformity, lower color depth, bad viewing angles and higher color shifts.
All because Samsung Mobile ares only about peak brightness (that is only achieved when 1% is white + 99% black)

At this point people will be better of with an iPhone 13 rather than iPhone 14 (talking about vanilla versions).
I think the “big selling point” this year will be the iPhone 14 Max. But, probably it will cost somewhere between the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro. At that price you can get a 1 year old iPhone 13 Pro Max in second hand market. Which in Apple standards, 1 year old is nothing.
I am curious to see how the market will react to the iPhones from this year. If I had to guess, the 14 series will not be better sold than the 13 series.

I can't wait for for standard to become 240hz and then people to start crying they cannot make out what is going on at 120hz...

I wonder if they could implement the use of quantum dots on smartphone OLED panels and utilize their new QD-OLED technology on smartphones, which badly need to have longer lifespan and lower power consumption.
Hopefully when the yields become greater, then they'd consider it.
