NotAFanB0Y, 04 Aug 2022How are you even getting such speeds.. Are you telling your... moreOn VI if the cell tower is positioned correctly or you’ve postpaid connection you will get such high speeds. I have tried and tested at multiple places around my area and even at peak time, the download speed is more than 70-80 mbps and that is at 7-8 pm in the evening in a metro and a highest speed of 160 mbps and then 140 mbps in morning 6-7 am (this is speed when I was away from the tower, if I had been at the locations where speeds are great I am sure it would have touched 200 mbps). Right now I am getting 60-70 mbps on VI.
VI will offer true 5G speed in India though the spectrum is low, unlike jio and airtel it will only focus on key areas and will definitely rock.
Jio with it’s 700 mhz spectrum may give you 5g signal even indoors with 3-4 bars but the speed won’t be higher than 40-50 mbps and so is for airtel.

First, It is just Press Newz. We can't assure that Airtel will launch 5G in this month in India. Indian customers particularly villagers and remote or far off places from Town are getting 4Gs now only. Those will be getting 5G probably in 2024 or even after 24... Airtel is concerned for business. So they come with higher price value for 5G similarly there will be an increase in 4G tariff also.

The Android Freak, 04 Aug 2022It works flawlessly. You need right device with CA and Vi o... moreHow are you even getting such speeds.. Are you telling your WiFi speeds or cellular mobile data speeds??
I'm getting 32mbps Download (eqv to 4MBps), and 24mbps Upload (eqv to 3MBps) on my Jio Fiber Broadband WiFi connection...
Maybe you have your data incorrect.. Maybe you are using some $tupid apps that are showing incorrect speeds on your phone.
How the hell in India you can get such speeds on cellular mobile data that too on 4g.. It's not South Korea.. You know the difference between mbps and kbps, right??? I guess u mistakenly wrote mbps in place of kbps.
Btw which devices you are using that you're referring these speeds from?? And what is source of these speeds, From where you are measuring the speeds??? Once again check the units, kbps or mbps

Asd, 04 Aug 2022I wish all this manufacturers think for the rest of the pla... moreThese private telcos wouldn't invest money in infrastructure in areas where they feel people wouldn't recharge their higher cost packages and thus only invest in highly populated towns/cities where more people are there and also with better financials..
Govt owned BSNL has taken the charge for this problem of yours and many others and recently govt has sanctioned Rs 1.5 Lakh Crores for BSNL ONLY!! which is the same amount all these three private players jio, airtel, vi spent in these 5g auctions.
The main aim of this package is to provide stable 4g connections in areas and places where 4g networks are not at all there of any private network or their speeds are not stable.. They have already recongnised these areas and made a list of such 20,000 plus villages and other places.. Other objective of this package is to provide bsnl 4g everywhere as on most places bsnl is having at best 3g only right now.. In 12-18 months, i guess they will fulfill these aims.. Also one more objective is to upgrade their core network with better architecture so to support more devices on single tower.
I have used bsnl 4g in Nagpur and it performed far better than my expectations.. I got easily 500+ kBps which is eqv. to 4 mbps and easily watched live TV on mobile in high quality without buffering. Only problem was on few occasions in a week for 30-40 mins the network seemed to be blacked out, i.e. in that duration you can text msgs but cannot watch any videos i.e. speeds drastically reduced at such instances.. Maybe they are doing maintenance stuffs in these times or their network got overloaded in such instances as they don't have the same capacity on their network like that of private players to support such overloaded situations which they aim to solve by this current govt. Package.

Yilo, 04 Aug 2022I cant believe you are still using BSNLI'm using BSNL and JIO, BSNL with Rs 397 Plan with 200 days validity previously it was 300 days and 365 before that, and Jio with Rs 395(previously it was rs 329) for 84 days for 6GB data and unlimited calling. Since I've fiber broadband I didn't need daily data on mobile. So this is the cheapest I can recharge, so both sims can be active.

Meanwhile on BSNL, you'll get 6gb, 90 days validity and 99 SMS, just for Rs 201, which is good enough for secondary sim that I only use to receive SMS and Calls.

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2022I don't believe 5G works in inside building.C Band will. But mostly you need empty network for it to work. But again 4G+ is enough if you have right device. I am getting 200-300Mbps plus on 10K device. So I will stay away away from Airtel and Jio and their 5G. I don't need it.
