The only "ultra" things I'm seeing here are the 4 speakers + MIL proof but not much else, the price is a problem. Which also unfortunately it's safe to assume that it's actually gonna go up slightly higher outside of SoKor in this economy IF LG plans to ship it out.

LG G8x, their latest phone got it all sorted for those who don't want Samsung level bloatware. LG's approach is better than optimistic Samsung, which monopolistically decides what we need.
Plus, with LG's world leading audio quality and dual 1080p screens at $300, with a capable set of cameras and overall kit level, there, you have a better phone for this much money than anything Samsung have ever given...
And no sir, your information is wrong. G8x has no noticeable throttling, even when playing hard games like PUBG and recording 4K60 in the Indian sun. Same has been confirmed by GSMArena review so I'm not alone, but you may be right about past phones.
Software wise, G8x is stable as it could be, with less bloatware, a parking app, a weather app and that's it. Rest we choose. This also gives it splendid battery life considering the 4000 mah cell, I've stretched it upto 2 days, moderate use.
I'm a G8x owner who only owned Mi's and Nokia's before it. And a Samsung INNOV8, but it was in 2008.

Welcome back LG, I hope for a better successor in future with OLED screen and timely update software, also hope LG will resume Mobile phone manufacturing soon. LG innovation design and camera quality always make user attraction, those who have missing LG are now hopeful because LG has only shut down their Mobile phone manufacturing plants not sold .

If you go to that "Source" link down below, on recommended products, you will find "LG Ultra Edge PC" (that name was machine translated)

For everyone out there, this tab is a good option at 330USD.
Why? Because the 680 is genuinely a good enough chip (remember, this 680 is basically a better version of the SD660, which was again, basically an 835 Lite). Am surprised that Qualcomm is reusing this (SD660) chip for 4 years.
The rest of the specs are also fine I guess, 5:3 1200p 60Hz display is OK, the battery is on par with other tablets of the same size. 25W charging is a big step up from other tablets that offer only 15W at best in this price range. Oh, and the military standard certification is a nice touch
LG closed down their mobile division. They did not sell it, or they did not put it in sleep/hibernate mode. (Tho I hope they bring it back, coz devices like the Wing were very good). This tablet was most likely an ODM designed and manufactured tablet, since they (LG) don't have the manufacturing facilities required to make any Android powered device.
The only big curiosity and question mark... Is the software. Sure, its running Android 12 (probably on top of LG UX 10 as other LG phones), which is actually great considering that LG launches devices with an older version of Android, then provides an update to the current version later. But the software support is the biggest question mark, since they only promised till Android 13 for 3 smartphones.
The million dollar question is: Will this device get just one update to Android 13 and then LG's devs are done? Or will this get 2 updates (as per LG's device policy) and receive Android 14 as well?

This LG "Ultra Tab" is most likely an ODM designed tablet that LG just stuck their brand name on.

Uhm their display is considered the best and always keeps getting better. From camera, software, performance, display, build quality, battery, user experience, etc... Apple, samsung, vivo, xiaomi, oneplus are trying to take the top spot. But there's no perfect smartphone. And they will not make one 'cause that's where innovation/improvements stopped.

LG should focus on making something that can compete with iPad Pros (and, I strongly believe that is possible). LG has already got great HW manufacturing capability, just needs to focus on the SW (they ran out of phone business because of SW bugs; and therefore, customer disappointment).

It is perfect for kids, because they tend to drop things more often. And for drawings and watching movies/cartoons this one is perfect.
