They just won't say it to its face because they know that it'll throw a tantrum. The Taiwan situation is a deadlock. China can't take Taiwan by force because the US will intervene, and the US can't officially endorse Taiwan's independence because if they do that China will be forced to invade Taiwan and the US will be forced to intervene. This situation won't resolve until one of them is decisively defeated. The time for that has yet to come.

You sound like a broken record in a very childish way, with all that "dude" and "best displays". What does best display mean for you? A magic trick that makes samsung displays for it's smartphones better then any display? A display is a display and quality messures in manufacturing branches, from best to lower quality that is still usable but not something to put on a, let's say, flagship. Samsung did not invent the amoled! Apple has it own displays from form to what apple wants from it's displays, that is also what Samsung delivers and has nothing to do with samsung devices. The comparison makes no sense what-so-ever. If samsung does not deliver what apple wants, there are others that manufacture displays. That's not called soldout, but actual factual marketing. If a company sells another company lower quality displays on purpose that is also visible to the eye, well then this company (or company branch) will bankrupt pretty quickly. With smartphone business only, samsung will not be able to keep it's displays branch afloat, so they need to do business with other companies if they want money. If this is pr***itution for you, well then they are, and the fact that you like samsung and think somehow of magical company of them, won't change the fact that business is business.

In the smartphone business is also about image. What kind of image Samsung will give, if their flagship phones displays will be totally inferior to Apple displays? And on top of that, they will even admit it officially.
I know that Apple fanboys wants to think about Samsung as Apple's b*tch, but imagine Samsung customers. They will never buy a Samsung phone again, if this will turn out to be true.
Samsung can give Apple a very good display (no doubt about that), but they will never give Apple a better display than what they are using on their own phones (not even for 1 billion dollars). Of this I am certain.

Will just say this, open-source development on mobile is dragged down because of people's extreme obsession with Apple products.
If the new iphone is delayed, that could give the Z Fold/Flip4 time to shine, but Samsung isn't a status symbol...

But Apple, as far as i know also pays for best quatlity branch displays, well at least they claim so. So if they pay, samsung delivers, is not like this companies care about fanboy 1 not liking fanboy 2 and struggle to state his ideas without no actual information nor proven facts.
