That is coming soon. Two features are coming later this month - the option to leave groups silently and to hide your online status from some users.

Yes so i just use another phone to take a picture of it then... useless feature seriously.

On Android there are apps that can screenshot without detection, I don't know about iOS, that's one thing I'd need to investigate if I were to switch to iOS
