Anonymous, 12 Aug 2022But with 8K video recording as the must-have feature for fl... moreMust have? Sony isn't doing it, and also said with a laugh, who is watching 8k videos?
          And i agree, who does?
Apple also said it's irrelevant. So no, it's not a must have, it's just marketing on it's highest. The phone doesn't even have a 4k screen. Let alone 8k to really push the pixels.

The only phone with a 4k screen is Sony one. And even that, debatable if human eye can see these tiny pixels on the screen.

It's just the physical technology evolution here, not a must feature. We had 4k recording since forever, so it was a matter of time to get to 8k recording. But it really is irrelevant.
See how no one is pushing it like it's a huge smartphone feature. Why? Because it's not. Hell even high production movie sets don't record in 8k. It's not because they can't.

200mp on a tiny smartphone sensor.. right.
What can possibly go wrong?! Marketing at it's highest

Ive been waiting for this phone to be imagined since the Edge+ was released.
I've used Moto phones since i first had a cellphone for their balance between quality of life functions and reliable workhorse performance.
                      I can't wait!

Curved screens are 6+ years old now so you can whine about it all you want but that tech doesn't go away 🤷‍♂️
