Bad logic. Lumia is planned years ahead. Is s3 not planned years ahead? In term of 2012, lumia is too late.

They could have had a better outcome but there was this issue with 'no-user-is-sure-if-his/her-s3-dies-suddenly-and-when' and some forums suggested note2 instead of s3 even for users who didn't need note's additional apps, stylus and graphic-related stuff.

Here is a list of my ownership of smartphones:
2009 - iPhone 3GS..my first smartphone ever
2010 - iPhone 4
2011 - Galaxy S II
2012 - Galaxy S III
2013 - ?
You see the trend? I'm not a fanboy.. I just buy the best phone available that year. And it just so happens that for the past 2 years the Galaxy S II & III were the best smartphones out. I will try Xperia Z and S IV and which ever is the best I will buy regardless of brand.

2012 => S3

For the rest of us Android fans/users, we HAD to know the outcome. Too many companies that are fierce competitors with too much to lose, are in Androids camp. At 2011 midyear I suggested to our group to bank on Android. We have not been disappointed. The intellectual firepower of the collective must not be dismissed. Out by far exceeds any ONE company no matter how gifted that one company is or perceives itself to be.
Barring any misstep, Android will dominate. Google,HTC,LG,HUAWEI,OPPO,PANASONIC,SONY,PANECH,ZTE,yes the entire assemblage of companies basing their products on ANDROID, will see to it that Android succeeds. Apple will do what it did when I first started in the computer world, license its ROM to NO ONE.( the Apple II was copied Apple sued & won) IBM was late to the table by what almost 10 years, yet allowed access to its design. IBM anticipated 50,000 units per year. Ended up selling that per month. Google studied that lesson. Is profiting from mistakes others made. Apple, not. Ironic. Yet business-wise, poetic justice against Apple.. For me, having owned Apple's, Motorolas, Samsungs,a Huawei, and more a Pantech, me thinks I'm going with a More Original, or Note II..But Definitely not Apple anything!!!!

Everything else xperias z is getting destroid by a 8 month S3. Not bad for the S3. Before you say that am fan boy i like the xperia z. But S3 is still for the price and everything that's it's offer also. Samsung has a good history for the update not Sony. I was a former Sony fan had the K700a, K850i, and Xperia 10. After my experience with X10 i want to Htc(Nexus 1 and Mytouch 4g). After that i want to Samsung. You want to know why? Number 1. Update 2. Feature, UTG etc.. and Sd card slot. I don't buy for the name. I buy the best smartphone. Since S2 Samsung make the best smartphone. Eger to see what Samsung has in store for S4.

nothing to worry about. There is nothing really new with the s4. As long as it continues to run android, the same problems will persist. They can continue to jack up its specs, but there will always be performance issues because of lag, and androids problems. Not sure why Samsung fans are bragging, once the s4 comes out, s3 is pretty much dead and obsolete, as s4 will have new features the s3 doesn't have. Ip5s new features will be available to previous generation phones. I just love the "they shipped 40 million s3". Just love that marketing tactic. So bull shit. 40 million shipped is to suppliers to phone companies and not to customers hands. ip5 sold 38 million units and those were 38 million to customers. Can't wait for the sg4s to come out, and here everyone pump it like no tommorow. Not sure what the s4 can offer what other android flag ships can't.
