Pathetic Hater. They are all corrupt. Money corrupt everything. That don't change the fact that Samsung make the best hardware and software combination in there flagship smartphone.

Corporation onlu want money that's the capitalist system or they go bankrupt like Nokia is going to be sone. Got it????

A lot of fanboys/girls comments going on in there... I have bought all SGS since the 1st one, not because of being a fanboy, but just because they were the best all-around each year.

Parts may be coming from Sony, Sharp and whatever, what really matters is the final product in your hand for your daily usage.

Samsung has built its popularity while maintaining some constants in their Galaxy range despite critics from geeks (us, whoever people is commenting/reading here), which don't really affect sales since Mr and Mrs John/Jane are representing the market mostly.

Personnaly, i have been (and still am) able to test most of brands. I won't enter those stupid time consuming debates, but i think it's wiser to wait for most of 2013 flagships to come out before praising a phone or another, or simply choosing one.

I don't know what S4 will be able to do or not, but based on SGS evolution, it's not all about tech being added for Samsung, it's about a whole "stock-rom" phone experience: -raising phone to your ear for automatically call, feeling a quick vibration when grabbing your phone screen off for telling you you have missed events (even vocally if you enable car-mdeo trick), customisable unlock screen with icons / RSS, call blocking / events filtering by schedule, advanced multimedia capabilities (zooming while watching a video, capturing a photo from a video), dual app viewing, advanced photo/video rec capabilities (you know them, let's add voice capturing which is still not common or photo snapping while recording video),touchwizz magic (fast calling thanks to slides, zoom/unzoom to reach apps quicker, fast apps-page searching etc.. to name a few that many don't know), samsung apps market (which still worths it since you can get a few full apps for free every months), they were the 1st to introduce trace typing to mass market with Swype. The list can go on, but i'm not promoting or working for them, but to sum up, compare any Galaxy settings menus to any from other brands. None matches it with a stock rom.

For those who intend to reply "but my xx Dupa2014phone can do that, or the soon-to-be will do it better", yes you are right. But you are LATE. Samsung understood one thing that Apple was used to do : watching opponents, gather the best features and add new ones too, not just pick a few and drop others like too many are doing every year.
Now, it's Apple playing catchup for features, thanks to other brands "inspiring them", they can keep their place and still wow the mass.

People here are now comparing a S3 with phones "coming" to the market. They were the same one criticizing the S3 last year while we, buyers, were already enjoying those stuff.

To finish, for example, i can still live without IP57 certification: i own a Moto Defy+ for 1 year, which is IP67 and i don't brag about it to my friends even if they say it's a cool phone. Cool it has it, but i don't go to the beach every day.. Like many people, i'll just be more picky about what other useful things or at least appealing, the SMARTphone can do which is the most important imo.

      My 2cts.

AnonD-77357, 15 Feb 2013No Sir! I don’t vehemently defend Samsung but I’m not engro... moreThen that is the fundamental difference between Apple and Samsung then, isn't it? The public's goodwill to a company is also a determining factor in their purchasing habits. That's why companies pay so much for PR and marketing folks. If folks are getting angry at Apple because of a patent dispute, imagine what they would think about Samsung for their corruption and price fixing. Samsung's indiscretions have benefited from it being a Korean company and most readers don't pay attention to Korean news. People here are still talking about what Steve Jobs said here years ago. Could you imagine if he was convicted of a crime?

Samsung Electronics is a direct beneficiary of the the Samsung Group's actions. So yes, this is relevant to the company.

BTW, don't fall for their marketing. Be practical and put your thinking hat on. They never mention a time frame for this. What is the frame of reference? Are they counting two years? Three? Does this include the inevitable rehashing of the GS4 as the GS4 Pro(or whatever they decide to call it)? You have to read the fine print and go beyond the PR release to see how companies are manipulating customers.
