The rumors are really starting to corroborate each other.

Samsung takes time for perfecting the compu... moreThey've had all the time in the world to perfect s22 Ultra's camera processing, and yet the images turned out to be inferior to s21 ultra in pretty much every scenario except for zoom, portrait and night shots. Darker shadows with loss of details, inferior HDR, soft details on random parts of the picture.
And they failed with tinkering while having a 2 year old (give or take same) sensor

Yawn @ Sammy controlled leaks team. Cooperate your company's r&d squad, and show us a new and forthcoming e model at 5.9 - 6.0 inches and headphone jack with a quad DAC inside instead of your Note turned Ultra model. Backstory: i own an 256 gb storage S22 and it's heavier than my non daily driver S10e ... without a headphone jack...and the pros (all 4 of them, superor brightness, tiny bit faster battery, and somewhat/slightly better battery life and 50 mp main cam) don't outweigh the cons: feels relatively uncomfortable, due to dimensions plus weight, ugly and likely able to incur damages due to the protruding camera bump, and lack of headphone jack. Why buy? Wanted a second phone for a decent price. Price = 16.99 US Dollars x 24 months without a trade in required (preorder price through Xfinity Mobile... was allowed to choose 128 or 256 storage...indicating that the S21 didn't sell well). S23e or S24e with jack and light weight leaks wya/come hither.

There's literally no point in using this 200MP sensor over a Quad Bayer 50MP, but if this rumour is true, I guess that would mean the mobile division of Samsung is willing to do anything to attract (technologically illiterate) average joe.

rizki1, 20 Aug 2022In the past, these large megapixels were only available on ... moreThe first 48MP sensor was used on a flagship phone, View 20 from Honor. The first high-resolution Quad Bayer sensor was also in fact inside P20 Pro which was the highest-end phone Huawei offered back then. BBK and Xiaomi have been using QB sensors for their flagship offerings since forever, too.

In the past, these large megapixels were only available on cheap and midrange phones. The first 48MP was Redmi Note 7, 64MP Redmi Note 8 pro, 108MP Mi Note 10. Now Samsung trying it in flagship.

200 or 2000 megapixels don't matter. They need to include an under-screen front camera. They have been releasing the same phone every year only with the chip upgraded.

you have to suffer, 20 Aug 2022another megapixel game. there is no way to make this stopThere is. As you making pixels smaller, at some point they cant anymore detect the visible spectre. There is a limit they can do it without making sensor beyond 1".

16 pixels to be read as one.
Attempt to making them work at different exposures.
Still phone needs to stack frame.

In the end, choosing non-bayer over bayer is in vain.

Again Samsung? again? You continue to invest in pixels instead of improving the A.I and image processing after shooting. It wouldn't hurt to invest in improved lenses either. At least according to reports, you have decided to stop using the Exynos processors that cause my S21u to heat up in such an extreme way that the phone shuts itself down for photography
