As for charging speed, it can also match common USB-C fast charging speed, which are fast enough for phones, even tablets.

To be honest why hue and cry for a phone? Whoever has money can buy whatever they want. Be it a 1500 dollars iphone or 100 dollar chinese phone.

Open AppStore and search word car or any word, the first search result you see is paid ad for car game. It says ad. These are kind of ok and useful kind of ads. So that's why you propably haven't seen them as ads, exact same thing happening now with maps. You search something and if one for example restaurant paid to advertise, you see their restaurant in top of the search.
I don't think anyone will leave Apple because of this. It's not something which will affect negativily your experience, but it might actually offer you something useful for example great hotel to stay night in a new city or country.
I mean do you seriously think Apple would bring normal ads to their platform like random banners etc which free apps and games might have. There's 0% chance that to happen. The ads need to be very delicate and almost unnoticable just like they've been.

I believe that THIS is the redline:
one of the major - if not THE differentiating factor that sets APPLE/iOS products apart from Android is in-OS or in-app advertising (and privacy as a side effect).
If that is history, it comes evevtually down to personal taste vs price.
And i know a lot of folks which downright like Andorid better then iOS stylistically, independent from the price aspect...
For me it's the one thing i would never accept for a premium produkt (iOS and Android): advertising.

It is no fun buying costly Apple products with ads, a good android phone with ads will suffice instead of paying more for apple. Many, including me will stop using apple once they do it.
