RIP. They left the market just when people started searching high and low for something different Look at all the hype Nothing got, and all they did was put some blinky lights on the back of the most nothing phone ever made.
Shape shifting phones? Rugged case that adds a second screen? High tech flip-phones?
Some even had headphone jacks, FM radios, microSD slots, fully implemented 5G, and international roaming all at the same time?!?!?!? Damn.
OK, the second screen needed work but I applaud them for trying. I actually did use it a few times.

They should have dumped the G series line after the disaster that was the G5 (sorry LG, Motorola outshined you HARD with their modular platform) and branded themselves completely as the "we do it differently" brand.
The Flex line would be made permanent; make the screen as color accurate as possible, give it an RGB white balance sensor and AF front camera. Keep it curved with a futuristic aesthetic. Fits a niche and becomes anti-Apple in the process.
V series would be the Note alternative or for people who want "normal" phones. Benefit of flat screen and extra utility. Eventually the W would come to look like a middle ground between the two, flat screen but more out there like the Flex line.
No need for G series line, it was good in the start but then devolved into a "me too!" product.

Godda... moreAs an LG Wing owner, yes, I was really looking forward to the LG Wing 2, to see how much they can improve upon the OG Wing.
Credit where due though, the LG Wing was actually very polished and reliable, despite being a first gen product.
I still use a Wing to this day since April 2021, and the fact that this has been executed much better than the Galaxy Fold just goes to show that LG has improved on its hardware design and manufacturing since the infamous "bootloop" period.

Well i do understand LG to accept money from apple for a long term bussiness. Money that could help LG and will force them to make for apple things they want.
But to be honest if i were representative for this contract and had any other options available at the moment i would refuse money from Apple.
Reason is very simple. Among many billions of companies worldwide apple is the last one on the edge of the tail that i would put my trust.
Apple is everything else but no good company to deal with and far from trustworthy.
They as usualy do everything in their possibilities to scold anyone for anything and make him pay.

Goddamn, I was so excited for their LG Wing 2 stuff and what all wacky things they could do, but seems like it's only other parties that can utilise it. Knowing Apple, they'll take their sweet sweet time to actually bring it out.
