I am paying 30 bucks , unlimited( 25gb) internet, unlimited internationall and domestic calls, unlimited texting...oh yeah and free hotspot. Yes in USA on Tmobile network.

This is normal outside of usa(hint: countries in europe) to have a free hotspot and even some networks have REAL unlimited internet or at least that limit is messured in hundreds not tens of gb.

Gandalfdenvite, 26 Aug 2022The signal has to travel 500 miles, and then be caught by a... moreThe satellite is planned to have an incredibly large antenna array, beam forming, and Doppler compensation. It could, technically, work with an ordinary powered phone. The tech will be insanely hard. Only Musk could build this, but he could be lying too. You never know.

Cellular radiation won't hurt you. It would have to rectify to biological frequencies to have even the slightest impact. GSM and WiFi theoretically could (heating being the rectification) but I don't think 5G uses the same pulsed modulation. You don't hear 5G signals rectifying in audio amps.

Why wouldn't it be? It'll be conforming to the exact same emissions rules as connecting to a cell tower. And it's not like satphones are new either.
