The signal has to travel 500 miles, and then be caught by a satellite that's traveling at 17,000 mph, while you hold the phone next to your head, does that sound "healthy"?

But we all know this is a double ... moreAs intended.
Truthfully, the scariest thing about the future is that humans don't evolve as quickly as technology does. It's akin to teaching a Chimp how to use an AR-15.
What are those magnificent innovations to come that the primal destructive nature of humankind will corrupt for demonstrably devious purposes.

kek, 26 Aug 2022Cool and nice in paper But we all know this is a double ... moreWell, USA does have a coverage problem and satellite phones are super expensive as well as service for them. If this brings connectivity access to everyone, it's great. Besides, I'm suspecting this will be an optional extra that you'll have to pay for and not something everyone will just get automatically. Satellites have much more finite resources than ground cell towers. There will certainly be a catch somewhere, just not as expensive one as for satellite phones...

"where dead zones would effectively be eliminated", does that include in New York beneath all the high buildings, and inside any building anywhere in the world?
