Tested with multiple different games for long time
And possibly browser performance testing as well
No matter the ultimate winner between mediatek or Snapdragon processor phone
Asu made both phones given people the opinion too pick there favourite processor opinion
As long as asu is open and provides all available information about there smartphones and temperatures performance specs etc asu should be fine
Note would like storage speeds and endurance added too asu Rog spec sheet
Mediatek has been given the chance in a flagship phone it might win
But if it doesn't
I want too see asu and mediatek open about it
Win or lose just be truthful about your products
People may not always agree with choice made but if there at least aware of them it's helps everyone make a inform choice of what they want

There is a point putting a mediatek chipset or prossesor 1st mediatek 9000 vs snapdragon 8 Gen 1 i think mediatek 9000 is winner. If they put a mediatek 9000+ with boost I think it will succeed

whats is the point using mediatek, emulators is gonna having big problem, big problem with bluetooth controller compability, and many 3rd apps is gonna not work, stupid chip, use mediatek only for midrange 🤦🏼♂️

I also had a friend with a similar problem, but with the ROG 5. I’m not sure if the newest ones have similar issues. The ROG series have been littered with issues but surprisingly the Zenfone is just fine.

Not sure about 9000+ but 8100 is way way better than latest snap atm. On paper slower but prolonged use no throttling cool

Dimensity chipsets are heavily tuned for benchmarks, we will see if it performs better than Snapdragon version because of its name tag "Ultimate" it must pass over regular and pro versions by far.
Otherwise, Asus will be one of the damned cheater companies.

Not much faster than a conventional flagship (still slower than an iPhone), still has quality control issues (especially Asus motherboard), lack of software support. It's not the same as an office laptop vs gaming laptops where the difference can be massive.
Even iPhone 13 Pro Max has equal or slightly better battery life than the Redmagic. Not sure about the ROG but it should be close

It's so good the mediatek dimensity 9000+ will be used by a phone built from the ground up with gaming in mind and cooling system gaming buttons high Hz screen
