we can stop crying on GSMARENA for a date to have the JB on our Note N7000.. have courage and keep an eye on this link for the update to be available.. Thanks..

3 more countries get update but not india :-(

Jb in india is going to come before 31st march. 1st quarter of 2013.
It is final tht it is going to come this month. Most probably it cone after midnite. So keep checking every nite..

I am using GT-N7000, 4.0.4, N7000XXLRB in Pakistan.
Any help with tentative availability of Jelly bean update? Been waiting for more then couple of months now.
Secondly if i get my firmware changed to the German version (as heard that JB update is available for that), would there be any adverse affects on the functionality of the phone? Thanks

United Arab Emirates - XSG 15 Mar 02:27:33
Russia - SER 15 Mar 02:32:45
Algeria - TMC 15 Mar 02:29:38

Links looks like its for galaxy note 2 but actually it is for Galaxy Note 1
As per the above pattern it looks like first the whole European countries will get JB update, then India will get its dose of JB update for GT-N7000

Go for the Germen firmware without any fear even PDA, CSC, MODEM numbers are different or Build number is different. Its awesome and do not wait for the OTA or Kies.

Last week I downloaded the latest firmware release for Trinidad and Tobago which was at that time the latest.I was also worried in case this doesn't work. I bought the Galaxy Note 1 at 35 % off discount because the Samsung dealer wants to sell all stocks of note one. So I can tell you I had no problem to upgrade fron ginger bread to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and the phone is working well. Go to Sam mobile for genuine firmware.

Thanks for the link, I gave it a try and was very happy. I thought the german ROM might be weird and doubted its worth getting the JB using odin flasher. But, JB is super and I highly recommend to go ahead with the process described above (go through the steps and do it carefully, though its very easy) instead of counting on Samsung-IN to release the update.
